The Kickapoo Teen Drop-In group’s monthly event will be from 3–6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, in the Ontario Public Library basement.
The drop-in is a free initiative for teenagers throughout the region and features “hands-on learning with community members, opportunities for ongoing mentoring, great meals and music,” according to a press release prepared by event organizers.
Programs are created and sponsored by community members and organizations.
According to organizers, this month’s program will consist of “needle felting marvelous and made-up creatures, (creating) a delicious, easy meal, and connecting with music.”
A drop-in also will be offered Sunday, March 19. The group will make herbal salves.
