The Monroe County Courthouse (all branches) will be closed from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19.
The closing includes all county offices. The courthouse staff and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office will conduct active-shooter briefing and training for employees as well as for attorneys in the area.
Another training session is planned at a later date once the new courthouse is complete.
