A Westfield, Wis., was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday in the town of Wilton, according to Monroe County Sheriff Scott Perkins.
Driving a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle, Scott Peterson, 43, was southbound on Highway 131 when he failed to stop at the stop sign at Highway 131 and Highway 71. The motorcycle continued through the intersection and entered the south ditch and cornfield.
The accident occurred at about 10:15 p.m.
Tomah Area Ambulance Service transported Peterson, who had non-life-threatening injuries, to Tomah Memorial Hospital.
The Wilton Fire Department, the Wilton Ambulance Service and the Monroe County 911 Communications Center also provided assistance.
