Sheryl Margaret Kamm, 58, of Richland Center died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home.

She was born Aug. 1, 1957, in Sparta, the daughter of Sylvester and Margaret (Sullivan) Laufenberg. Sheryl graduated from Brookwood High School as salutatorian in 1975

On May 8, 1982, Sheryl married Mark Kamm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Onalaska. She attended WWTC in La Crosse and went to work at Heileman’s Brewing Company as a secretary for 11 years.

In 1989, Sheryl and Mark moved to Waukon, Iowa, where she worked as the school librarian at St. Patrick’s Catholic School.  Sheryl went to work as a secretary for the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and as a legal secretary for Morrow and White in Waukon.

The couple moved to Richland Center, where she volunteered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Sheryl enjoyed being with her friends, especially for their evening walks.  Her greatest love was the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.  She was a very selfless woman who would put the needs of others ahead of her own.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester, and her sister, Kathy.
