Ivan A. Rueckheim, 74, of 6664 Cameron Ave., Vesper, Wis., and formerly of Kendall died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Ivan was born in Norwalk on Aug. 6, 1935, to Arthur and Esther (Bredlow) Rueckheim. He married Gail Manske on Jan. 25, 1964, in Reno, Nev. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Gardner Trucking, driving mainly in the Midwest. He also farmed for many years. He loved driving semi, taking care of his lawn, watching a funny movie and enjoying the good company of his loved family and extended family.
Survivors include his wife, Gail; one son, Scott of Sun Prairie, Wis.; one daughter, Robin Pasch of Kendall; and three sisters, Fern Stern of Alameda, Calif., Elaine (Roger) Pitel of Camp Douglas and Joyce (Lyle) Witt of Ontario.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation was Friday, Nov. 6, at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial was in the South Ridge Cemetery in Ontario. Memorials may be designated in Ivan’s name to UW Cancer Center-Riverview.
