Tami Willis, 44, of Sparta, formerly of Ontario, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at the Franciscan Skemp Medical Center, La Crosse, with her family and friends around her.
Tami was born April 29, 1966, in Janesville to Alan and Caroline (Calhoon) Willis. Tami graduated from Brookwood High School in 1984. She married Michael Kolenski and later divorced. Tami married Manuel Infante in Milwaukee and lived in Austin, Minn. They later divorced but remained the best of friends.
She is survived by her mother, Caroline “Kari” Willis of Ontario; her father, Alan (Mary) Willis of St. Frances, Wis.; her brothers, Timothy Alan Willis of Sparta and Ronald Alan (Tammy) Willis of Cashton; her sister, Nicole Rae (Wayne) Slaney of Chetek, Wis.; four nephews, Kyle and Andrew Slaney, Kody Willis and James Carpenter; three nieces, Kara Willis, Rená Willis and Cassie Slaney; four step-nieces and step-nephews; her grandmother, Beatrice Calhoon of Ontario; her aunts and uncles, Gene Calhoon of Ontario, Kay (James) Ziegler of Lewiston, Minn., Kathy Downing of Ontario, and Ron (Mary Pat) Willis of Stoddard, Wis.; her cousins, Stacy (Brenda), Candee (Pat), Danielle (Derek) and Linsey (Kevin); and three special friends, Jamie Gable of Forest Grove, Ore., Joanne Dunwald of Ontario, and Trish of Indiana. She will be missed very much by her very best friend, “Smokie,” her dog, along with many more relatives and friends.
Tami was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Keith Calhoon; and her paternal grandparents, Fred and Florence Willis.
Tami was the bravest and most wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 9, at Mount Pisgah Wesleyan Church, Ontario. Burial will follow in Billings Creek Cemetery, rural Ontario. Pastors Bob Streeter and Warren Weatherbee will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 5–8 p.m. Thursday at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Ontario.
