AriDean M. Gardner, 75, of Wonewoc died Friday, July 30, 2010, in rural Elroy.

The daughter of Glen and Merl (Waldron) Bass, she was born in Hillsboro on Sept. 27, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gardner, and her parents.

AriDean loved to be outdoors, spending time in her garden, landscaping and growing flowers. She was an avid collector of angels and dolls. She was very active with her church family and willing to help out on any project. She truly loved her family and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by six children, Vicki Garett of Twin Lakes, Wis., Sonja (Renold) Gibeaut of Mauston, Stuart (Claire) Wetley of Goldsboro, N.C., Kenny (Denise) Wetley of Lake Delton, Wis., Terry (Adele) Wetley of Kenosha, Wis., and Bruce Wetley, Elroy; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Merlyn (Jane) Bass; one sister, Arlaine (Mike) Miller; eight stepchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at the Thompson Funeral Home, Wonewoc. Burial will follow in the Pine Eden Cemetery, Wonewoc. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The Thompson Funeral Home, 402 Center St., Wonewoc, is assisting the family.
