Roger G. Gajewski, 82, of King, Wis., and formerly of Wilton died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.

He was born Nov. 29, 1928, to Alfred and Angela (Gnewikow) Gajewski in Norwalk. He attended Norwalk High School. As a member of the United States Air Force, he proudly served his country during the Korean War, with three years of service overseas. Roger worked for many years as a driver for United States Postal Service.

He belonged to the American Legion. He enjoyed cooking, watching court TV and nature.

He is survived by many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Norwalk, with military honors by Norwalk American Legion Post 438. Pastor James Leston will officiate.
