Heaven received another angel when our precious peanut was called home by our Lord. Kaelin April Richmond was born five months premature Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at 1:11 a.m. to her parents, Amanda (Shaw) and Larry Richmond, at Mayo Health Center of La Crosse. She weighed 10.6 ounces and was 9 ¾ inches long. Kaelin’s family and friends were blessed with her for almost an hour before she passed peacefully in the arms of her mommy.
She was able to experience a shower of love by family and a few close friends. In such a short amount of time spent here on earth, something so small left something so big in our hearts. She is being greeted in heaven by her great-grandpas Ronald Shaw and Omer Geier and her grandma, Linda (Brockman) Richmond.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Amanda; two siblings, Maycee and Dawsynn Richmond; her grandparents, Roxy Shaw, Scott Geier, Larry Richmond Jr. and Heather Richmond; her great-grandparents; a special friend, Wanda Sawyer; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited for visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Online condolences are available at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com.
