Monroe and Juneau counties each reported two new Covid-19 cases today; and Vernon County, one.
Now at 67 confirmed Covid-19 cases, Monroe County has 17 active cases, of which one is hospitalized. Forty-nine of the 67 cases have recovered, and one has died (in that case, the individual had underlying health conditions, but Covid-19 was a factor in his death, according to the health department).
The two new cases are a woman in her 60s with moderate symptoms and a woman in her 30s (the investigation of her symptoms is ongoing).
Testing of Monroe County residents has generated 4,242 negative results.
In Vernon County, the newest case is a female between the ages of 10–20 who is isolating at home. Of the county’s total 37 confirmed cases, 32 are recovered and five are isolating at home.
Juneau County reported two new positive cases today, bringing the total to 41, of which 12 are active, seven have been released from isolation, 21 have recovered and one has died.
In Wisconsin, 29,199 people have tested positive for Covid-19 to date.
