Vernon County Sheriff’s Report for Feb. 5–12

Sunday, Feb. 5: Douglas Schuchart of Viola was traveling eastbound on Highway 82 in the town of Webster when he struck a deer. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Schuchart did not report any injuries.

Sunday, Feb. 5: Patricia Burckhardt of Viroqua was driving eastbound on Highway 56 in the town of Jefferson when she struck a deer. Burckhardt did not report any injuries. The vehicle received minor damage and was not towed.

Tuesday, Feb. 7: Heather Teasdale-Stowell of Hillsboro was traveling eastbound on Highway 33 in the town of Whitestown when she struck large rocks that were in the roadway due to a rockslide. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Teasdale-Stowell did not report any injuries.  

Thursday, Feb. 9: Brittaney Westley of Madison was driving westbound on County Highway Y in the town of Viroqua when she left the roadway and went down an embankment. The vehicle struck several saplings before coming to rest at a tree. Westley did not report any injuries.  The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.  

Saturday, Feb. 11: Richard Ermilio of Richland Center was traveling northbound on Highway 80 in the town of Greenwood when he struck a deer. Ermilio did not report any injuries. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.
