A motorcycle crash occurred on Clinton Ridge Road in the town of Clinton on Sunday, according to Vernon County Sheriff John Spears.
At about 2:36 p.m., Dean Anderson, 52, along with his passenger, Marcia Olson-Castillo, both of Verona, Wis., were southbound on Clinton Ridge Road when Anderson failed to negotiate a curve. Anderson applied the brakes and left the roadway on the east side of the road, and then both were both ejected from the motorcycle.
Sustaining injuries, Anderson and Olson-Castello were transported to Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. Both had been wearing helmets.
The Cashton First Responders and La Farge Ambulance Service assisted the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the accident.
