The library will offer a class on knitting a cowlette at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 16. Karen Austad will lead us in starting a small cowl, which is a shawl that is closed in front. The class will learn how to knit a garter tab cast-on, read a chart and knit lace. There is no charge, but bring one skein (300 yards) of DK yarn and a 24-inch-long, size-5 circular needle.
