Senior menus for Dec. 2–6

HILLSBORO MEAL SITE

Meals are served at The Eagleview, 400 Water Ave. (first floor). Home meal delivery from Hillsboro is available to Ontario residents, plus Ontario residents can get transportation to another county meal site. To make a reservation, call (608) 489-8115 the day before. 

Monday, Dec. 2: Cheeseburgers, roasted baby reds, steamed broccoli, whole-wheat dinner rolls, tropical fruit, and yellow cake with chocolate frosting

Tuesday, Dec. 3: Scalloped potatoes and ham, steamed corn, four-bean salad, cornbread muffins, sliced strawberries and angel food cake

Wednesday, Dec. 4: Baked tilapia, baked potatoes with sour cream, spinach salad, whole-wheat bread, mandarin oranges and peanut butter bars

Thursday, Dec. 5: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed carrots, whole-wheat bread, peaches and oatmeal raisin cookies

Call 463-7622 (Kendall), 343-3158 (Norwalk) or 487-6130 (Wilton) by noon two days before to reserve a meal.Menus were not available at press time.  

ELROY MEAL SITE

Meals are served at 11:45 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 226 Erickson St. For more information, call 462-5175.

Monday, Dec. 2: Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes with gravy, beets or corn, fruit, dinner rolls and dessert

Tuesday, Dec. 3: Beef stew with vegetables, Snickers salad, dinner rolls and dessert

Thursday, Dec. 5: Pulled pork on buns, macaroni salad, cowboy beans, fruit and dessert

Friday, Dec. 6: Fish (fried or baked), hash browns, salad, fruit and cheddar biscuits
