Monroe County reported 75 new Covid-19 cases over the weekend and 11 today. Its total since the start of the pandemic stands at 2,929, of which 271 are active (12 are hospitalized), 2,639 have recovered, and 19 have died.

The Vernon County Health Department was notified of three new Covid-19 deaths today. In all, 23 county residents have died since the start of the pandemic.

All three of the residents were women; one was in her 70s and two were in their 90s; and all were recovering at home.

The health department stated, “Our team would like to express our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and those impacted by this loss of life.”

Also, the county had 40 new cases Saturday through Monday:

• A male between 0–9 years old who is recovering at home

• Five males between 10–19 years old who are recovering at home

• Three males in their 20s who are recovering at home

• Three males in their 30s who are recovering at home

• Four males in their 60s who are recovering at home

• Three males in their 70s who are recovering at home

• A male 90 or older who is recovering at home

• Two females between 0–9 years old who are recovering at home

• Two females between 10–19 years old who are recovering at home

• Four females in their 20s who are recovering at home

• A female in her 30s who is recovering at home

• Four females in their 40s who are recovering at home

• A female in her 50s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 70s who is hospitalized

• A female in her 80s who is recovering at home

Of the county’s 1,268 cumulative cases, 1,053 have recovered, 15 are hospitalized, 177 are isolating at home, and 23 have died.

Juneau County today reported one new death, bringing its total to eight since the start of the pandemic.

Also, the county had 53 new cases over the weekend and 10 today, resulting in a tally of 1,520, of which 288 are active (four are hospitalized, 365 have been released from isolation, 859 have recovered, and eight have died.

At the New Lisbon Correctional Institute, three new cases were reported today. Since the start of the Aug. 15 outbreak, the facility has had 529 cases, of which six are active and two are hospitalized.
