Potential scam reported in Ontario

A potential scam has been reported in Ontario, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.

According to reports, a man driving a white Mini Cooper with no plates is going door to door, telling residents he needs to do inspections of their residences for $200 a piece.

This individual is not associated with any government agency, according to the sheriff’s office.
