Lars Bergan, the Wallace Center Pasture Project, and Valley Stewardship Network will host a pasture walk from 1–3 p.m. Aug. 11, at the Bergan farm, E9986 Nelson Road, Westby.
Participants will discuss management of existing versus newly seeded pastures, look at a Shade Haven structure, discuss strategies for determining how much hay to cut from a pasture, and identify some common pasture plants and weeds.
