Ontario story time set for Sept. 27

By APRIL ARNDT | Ontario Public Library director

Bring your kiddos and join us Tuesday, Sept. 27, for story time at the library from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The kids will have the library to themselves to explore and to enjoy stories, play time, and crafts with Miss April. Activities are designed for children from ages 3–5, but younger and older siblings are welcome to attend as well.

We’ll host our first “Connect & Play” on Monday, Sept. 26, from 2–5 p.m. in the library basement. Miss April will have fun stations set up where you and your child can explore different aspects of early literacy and learning. Activities are designed for children from ages 0–8. Feel free to drop in for as long as you like.

Do you like to knit? The Ontario Knit Wits meet every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring your latest project to work on and enjoy a lively conversation with fellow knitters. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Purchase an Ontario Public Library Cookbook for $10 at the library. All proceeds benefit the Ontario Public Library.
