To help you better interact in safe ways with older adults outside your immediate household, we created activity kits for seniors and caregivers. These kits give you and your loved ones the opportunity to connect over moments from the past. Each kit contains a variety of items to spark conversations, laughter, memories, and joy.
Kits available at the library are the “Keeping Busy Kit,” which includes a water pen art board, a maze, a card game, and conversations starters, while the “Music Kit” includes a wooden music set, a “Greatest Hits of the 50s” compact disc, a “Pure 60s” compact disc, dance ribbons, and a 1940s–1960s music “Memory Lane” book.
More kits, including a “Family History Recording Kit,” a “Robotic Cat Kit,” and a “Robotic Dog Kit,” are coming soon. For more information about the activity kits, please call (608) 337-4651.
