The following Village of Norwalk Police Department cases are pending in Monroe County Circuit Court.
• Jose Ernesto Rojas-Hernandez, 43, of Norwalk — one misdemeanor count of battery/domestic abuse and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct/ domestic abuse. Charges were filed Sept. 7, 2017. Rojas-Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
• Alberto Santiago-Garcia, 52, of Norwalk — one misdemeanor count of battery/domestic abuse and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct/domestic abuse. Charges were filed Oct. 18, 2018. Santiago-Garcia has pleaded not guilty to both counts.
• Alberto Santiago Garcia, 52, of Norwalk — one misdemeanor count of violation of restraining order/harassment (domestic abuse). Charges were filed Oct. 24, 2018. Santiago Garcia has pleaded not guilty.
• Joshua James Perrigo, 27, of Tomah — one felony count of first-degree child sexual assault, sexual contact with person younger than age 13 (repeater). Charges were filed Nov. 8, 2019.
• Carson James Sylvander, 21, of Viola — one misdemeanor count of sex with child 16 or older, one misdemeanor count of sending obscene emails, and one forfeiture count of harassment. Charges were filed Oct. 7, 2019. Sylvander has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
• Michael Duane Townsend, 50, of Hillsboro — two felony counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked (revocation due to alcohol/controlled substance/refusal, fourth offense), and one count of nonregistration of auto. Charges were filed Aug. 5, 2019. Townsend has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
