The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District was among the 19 across the state that received grants through the Department of Justice’s Office of School Safety. N-O-W received $40,000 to improve physical safety at its building. Grant applicants are required to partner with law enforcement agencies to ensure that proposed expenditures, visitor protocols, and school safety plans will be effective and provide students with the safest learning environment possible, according to the Department of Justice.
