Monroe County offering sampling for private wells

The signup deadline for private well water sampling to landowners of Monroe County is quickly approaching. 

All Monroe County residents who have not sampled their well within the last four years are eligible, but they must register for testing by Wednesday, Feb. 22. 

The Landowner Package, which tests for eight items including nitrates and bacteria, will be available for $20.  Bottles are limited to the first 100 participants.
