Letter to the editor: Wake up, Wisconsin voters

By JACKSON CALHOON | Wilton

Stop and think! Since the Republicans took control of our legislature and governorship, think of all the benefits workers have lost.

• Right-to-work state

• Women’s rights lost

• Wages lost

When is the last time you had a raise? When is the last time there was an increase in minimum wage? Reinstated waiting week!

I joined the union in 1953. I still belong, and I still receive benefits UAW Local 95 at Janesville GM.

I look forward to the County Line paper each week and to the Backtalk. When I was in high school, our English teacher always told us, before you open your mouth, engage your brain,

Too bad no one ever told President Trump that.
