We are living in a world where most everyone has an opinion on the issues of the day, and voices are lifted up to reveal those opinions. Yet there are voices that we cannot hear. It is the voice of the most innocent, that of the unborn children. People cry out to protect cats, dogs, wolves, etc., yet the same often say it is a woman’s right to choose life or death for her unborn child.

We are hearing statements today like, “Lives matter.” Well, that depends, or so it seems, in places. More than 50 million human beings have been legally put to death in our own country by legalized abortion. That should have never been, nor should it ever continue. We should protect life at all times, especially in the womb. In this election year, vote for leaders who protect the unborn. Check their voting record if in doubt. The unborn have no voice but yours or mine.

We ought to advocate to our youth abstinence and purity before marriage as we look to solutions to issues like teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Let us speak up for the unborn children and do what we can to protect them and their right to live. Their lives do matter. Thanks for listening.
