I am writing this letter to show my endorsement for Debra Carney, who is running for Monroe County Treasurer. I, along with the previous county treasurer, hired her 34 years ago as the treasurer/clerk. She held that position until January 2017, when she was appointed as my deputy treasurer. When I retired on April 30, 2019, she was appointed by the Monroe County Board to fill my term, which expires the end of this year. She is the candidate that has worked all three positions in this office. She is dedicated to this job and is the most qualified candidate for this position. Working with her for 33 years, I know her quality of work and dedication, therefore I am asking for your full support in the Aug.11 election to elect Debra Carney as your next Monroe County Treasurer.
