Being a member of the Republican Party (for me) has not always meant voting straight Republican. I have worked in the public safety field for most of my lifetime and have always looked at the individual running for political office, rather than the party a political figure may be associated with. When I vote for someone, I want the person who is going to represent all of the constituents in the communities I serve. That candidate for me in this year’s U.S. Congress election is Jessi Ebben.
I first had the pleasure of meeting Jessi Ebben at the Lincoln Dinner in Sparta, Wis. Jessi, of all the Republican candidates who spoke that night, was the only U.S. Congress candidate who had a true purpose for running. You could tell running for this office was not just a notch in the belt for Jessi, but she truly wanted to make a positive change in the 3rd District. Jessi is someone who values our Constitution and understands the importance of our law enforcement officers. Jessi understands the importance of citizens having the ability to protect themselves and will make sure to defend our Second Amendment rights in Washington. Jessi knows the issues that are happening in the 3rd District and has actual ideas and solutions of how to progress the 3rd District forward. I hope you will join me on Aug. 11 election and vote for my friend Jessi Ebben.
