• $11.25 – That’s how much it will cost to see a show at the Tomah Concert Series. ($45 for adults for four shows — other ticket prices for families and students)

• $10 — That’s how much it will cost to see a play at the Area Community Theater ($20 per membership — they typically do five shows a year — includes newsletter, voting privileges, etc.)

• $15 — That’s how much it will cost to see a performance at the One Acchord theater. (Annual Christmas show and other venues throughout the year)

We have just seen two of the best shows we have ever seen in this area, namely the David Osborne Trio at the Tomah Concert Series and an all-male chorus at the One Acchord Theater. We look forward to seeing “The Foreigner” this Thursday at the ACT Theater, knowing it will be equally as entertaining.

The shows at the Tomah Concert series are paid for through ticket sales, so the more tickets sold, the greater the amount of money that will be spent for upcoming shows. The performers in the plays at the ACT theater are talented volunteers who love the theatre and our communities as they promote the arts. Likewise, the volunteer group from One Acchord have given approximately $35,000 back to the community in support of local charities. They are all to be commended for their dedication to entertain us with some awesome shows.

I encourage you to support our three theaters: The plays and the music reach out to all ages. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
