By LYNETTE VLASAK | Kendall Public Library director
The Kendall Public Library’s movie night will be Friday, May 20, at St. John’s Church beginning at 6:30 p.m. We are going to try one more time to show the movie “Hachi.” For those of you who have been keeping track, this will be our fourth attempt to show this movie. Based on a true story, this movie highlights a dog’s loyalty to his master. Free pop and popcorn will be available. Everyone is welcome.

We have a new experience for our book club members coming up May 18. As a result of one of the books we recently read, “The Library Book” by Susan Orlean, it was suggested that we take a fieldtrip to visit some of our area public libraries. So on May 18, we will travel to the public libraries in Wonewoc, Mauston and New Lisbon. Our plan is to have lunch in Mauston between visits. If you are not in our book club but would like to join us, call the library for more information. We will meet in Kendall and carpool from there.
