Monroe County reported 44 new Covid-19 cases, bringing its total to 2,281, of which 435 are active (11 are hospitalized), 1,834 have recovered, and 12 have died.

Vernon County had its 10th death, a woman who was 90 or older who had been recovering at home.

“Our team would like to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and those impacted by the loss of life,” the health department stated.

The county reported 26 new cases:

• Two males between 10–19 years old who are recovering at home

• Three males in their 20s who are recovering at home

• A male in his 30s who is recovering at home

• A male in his 40s who is recovering at home

• Two males in their 50s, one of whom is hospitalized and one who is recovering at home

• Three males in their 60s who are recovering at home

• A male in his 80s who is recovering at home

• Two females between 10–19 years old who are recovering at home

• A female in her 20s who is recovering at home

• Three females in their 30s who are recovering at home

• Two females in their 40s who are recovering at home

• Two females in their 50s who are recovering at home

• A female in her 60s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 80s who is recovering at home

• A female 90 or older who is recovering at home

Of the county’s cumulative 953 cases, 682 have recovered, 13 are hospitalized, 248 are isolating at home, and 10 have died.

Juneau County had 25 new cases, resulting in a total of 1,214, of which 324 are active (five are hospitalized), 329 have been released from isolation, 555 have recovered, and six have died.

At the New Lisbon Correctional Institute, one new case was reported. In all, the prison has had 521 cases since the start of its outbreak Aug. 15, of which 18 are active. Only inmates are included in the count.
