Are you need of warm winter clothing? Stop by the winter closet at the Ontario Public Library. We have coats, gloves, hats, and scarves in adult and children sizes. All items are free and will be available in the front entrance of the library any time of the day. If you are in need, please feel free to take what you need to stay warm this season. Questions? The next book group selection is “Mr. Dickens and His Carol” by Samantha Silva. Copies can be checked out at the circulation desk. The book group will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, to discuss the selection. New members are always welcome.

The Ontario Knit Wits are sponsoring a raffle to benefit the Ontario Public Library. We have 11 great prizes: two quilts, seven barn quilts, one tea basket, and one soap basket. Tickets are $1 apiece or six for $5 and for sale at the Ontario Public Library. The drawing will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, at the Ontario Public Library.
