The Fountain Evangelical Lutheran Church congregation will celebrate 140 years of worship and community service Sunday, Sept. 30.
Everyone — members, former members, neighbors — is welcome. Reconnect with old friends and make new ones while honoring our church on the hill and its years of fellowship.
Events begin with coffee fellowship at 9 a.m. There will also be a brief choir practice for anyone who would like to join in the singing.
Worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m., led by Rev. James Gerth. That will be followed by a community dinner in the church basement.
At 2 p.m., the church will hold a brief celebratory event. Former pastors, members, friends are encouraged to speak. It will be a time to share memories and anecdotes of how Fountain Lutheran has enriched your life.
There will be a memory board available for postingpictures, notes or other memorabilia. If you cannot attend, we would still love to hear from you.
