Dorset Valley closes after learning of positive Covid-19 case at restaurant

Dorset Valley Schoolhouse Restaurant closed Tuesday after its staff learned that a person who had tested positive for Covid-19 was at the restaurant during his or her infectious period.

The person was at Dorset Valley during the afternoons and evenings of June 19 and June 26.

The restaurant will be closed for a deep cleaning and will reopen at a later date. Carryout also won’t be offered this weekend.

“Even though the exposer is considered low risk, we want to take time to do a deep cleaning and hope to be ready to open again very soon,” Dorset Valley management stated.
