BHS to host two meets

Brookwood will host a cross country sub-sectional meet on Monday, Oct. 19. The following is the schedule:

• 12:45 p.m. — School grounds will open for the first six schools

• 1 p.m. — Course open for inspection/warm-ups

• 2 p.m. — Girls race for first six schools

• 2:30 p.m. — Boys race for first six schools

• 3:10 p.m. — First six schools must have departed/second six enter school grounds

• 3:25 p.m. — Course open for inspection/warmups

• 4:25 p.m. — Girls race for second six schools

• 4:55 p.m. — Boys race for second six schools 

The first six schools will be Luther, Melrose-Mindoro, Necedah, New Lisbon, Providence Academy/Coulee Christian and Royall.

The second six schools will be Brookwood, Cashton, De Soto, Hillsboro, Kickapoo-La Farge and North Crawford.


1. Admission is available only to people with tickets.

2. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the meet.

3. A limited supply of extra tickets will be available starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.

Brookwood will host the Scenic Bluffs Cross-Country Championships on Thursday. Race times are 4:30 p.m. for boys and 5:15 p.m. for girls.
