Radke farm will be site of Crop Management Field Day

The University of Wisconsin-Extension will offer a Crop Management Field Day at the Keith and Julie Radke farm, 26717 Mineral Road, Wilton, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15.

The purpose of the field day is to provide growers with information that they can use to make decisions on how to best manage their crops for the remainder of this year and to discuss implications that may carry over into the next growing season.

UW-Extension state specialists Joe Lauer (corn), Shawn Conley (small grains and soybeans) and Vince Davis (weed management) will lead discussions.

The event will be offered at no charge, and attendees should bring folding lawn chairs to the workshops. Refreshments will be provided.
