More than 150 people jammed into the Kickapoo Valley Reserve meeting room in rural La Farge on Thursday, demanding to know why oversight of the 8,569-acre property would be shifted from the Department of Tourism to the Department of Natural Resources under a proposal in Gov. Scott Walker’s 2015–2017 biennium budget.
