Monroe County’s Covid-19 tally rose by five today, Vernon County added one, and Juneau County did not report any new cases.

The following are the new cases in Monroe County:

• Male in his 20s, mild symptoms

• Female in her 30s, asymptomatic

• Female in her 20s, mild symptoms

• Female between ages 10–17, investigation ongoing

• Male in his 20s, mild symptoms

The investigation of those cases is ongoing, according to the Monroe County Health Department.

Monroe County now has 57 confirmed cases, of which 23 are active, two are hospitalized, 31 have recovered and one has died (in that case, the individual had underlying health conditions, but Covid-19 was a factor in his death, according to the health department).

Testing of Monroe County residents has yielded 3,687 results.

Vernon County’s new case is a woman in her 60s who is isolating at home. At present, Vernon County. has 32 positive results, of which 28 are recovered, none are hospitalized, and four are isolating at home. To date, testing of Vernon County residents has generated 2,513 negative results.

Juneau County has 31 positive results, of which seven are active, two have been released from isolation, 21 have recovered and one has died.
