Thursday, Oct. 22: Monroe County has 29 new cases; Vernon County, seven; and Juneau County, 13

 

Monroe County today had 29 new Covid-19 cases. The total case count since the pandemic began is 1,027, of which 188 are active (five are hospitalized), 830 have recovered, and nine have died.

A third Vernon County resident, a man in his 60s who was recovering at home, has died from Covid-19.

Also, Vernon County had seven new cases today:

• A male in his 30s who is recovering at home

• Two males their 60s who are recovering at home

• A female in her 20s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 40s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 60s who is recovering at home

• A female in her 70s who is hospitalized

Of the county’s 450 positive results, 340 have recovered, five are hospitalized, 102 are isolating at home, and three have died.

Juneau County reported 13 new cases today, bringing its total to 713, of which 218 are active (nine are hospitalized), 158 have been released from isolation, 332 have recovered, and five have died.
