Movie night will be Friday, Sept. 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the St. John’s fellowship hall. The movie “Breakthrough” (PG) will be featured. It is based on a true story of a mother’s faith when faced with little hope from the doctors following her son’s fall through the ice.

There is no charge, and everyone is welcome. As always, there will be free pop and popcorn.

Our next book-club meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. Our September book is “The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit” by Michael Finkel. If you would like to join us, stop in the library to arrange to get a copy of the book.
