The Ontario Public Library’s summer reading program started Wednesday, June 8. in the library basement. Ages 4 to 12 are welcome to attend the remaining sessions. Our theme for the year is “Oceans of Possibilities.” We have fun, water-themed activities planned for the children.
Summer reading program dates:
• June 15 — 1–2:30 p.m. (Learn the history of Oreo cookies and taste test different flavors.)
• June 22 — 1–2:30 p.m. (Explore the ocean while learning to be healthy.)
• June 29 — 1–2:30 p.m. (Storyteller Tracy Chipman will be joining us at 1:30 p.m.)
Pick up your bingo card at the library! Those from ages 4–12 can complete fun activities throughout June and earn awesome prizes.
