A motorcycle crash occurred on Highway 131, near Pisgah Road, in rural Ontario (town of Whitestown), at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, according to Vernon County Sheriff Roy Torgerson.

Janice Marie Lilletvedt, 75, of Pewaukee, Wis., was operating a 2024 Can-Am Spyder Roadster, traveling north, when she struck a deer. The operator was ejected when the three-wheeled motorcycle went off the roadway.

Damage to the motorcycle was minor, and it was removed from the scene under its own power.
