The Kickapoo Valley Reserve will host a Driftless Dialogue Series program entitled “Elk in Wisconsin” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the KVR Visitor Center.
Scott Roepke, a DNR wildlife biologist, will discuss elk reintroduction in Jackson County, the history of elk in Wisconsin, and what the future holds.
Programs are free and open to the public.
The Driftless Dialogue Series is sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation (Nuzum) Fund.
