Vernon County Sheriff’s Report for March 26 to April 1

Saturday, March 31: Ruth Schumacher of De Soto had her vehicle parked on Main Street in De Soto. During the night, an unknown vehicle apparently rear-ended the Schumacher vehicle. The striking vehicle did not stop or report the incident. This remains under investigation.

Saturday, March 31: Six fishing rods and a tackle box were allegedly stolen from a man who was fishing at Genoa Lock and Dam No. 8.
