Wednesday, Aug. 30: Lester Flick of De Soto was traveling southbound on Highway 35 in the town of Bergen, pulling a trailer loaded with lumber. Reportedly the trailer started to fishtail, and Flick lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the road and overturned the vehicle. No injuries occurred.
Saturday, Sept. 2: Pulling a pop-up camper, Aaron Tatu of Fennimore, Wis., was traveling northbound on County Highway S in the town of Liberty. As he approached the stop sign at the intersection of Highway 56, he applied his brakes, but due to the wet roads, he slid through the intersection and the camper struck the guardrail. The vehicle and camper then jackknifed. No injuries were reported.

Three crashes involving deer or other animals were reported last week:
• Thea Jo Fronk of Hillsboro hit a deer on Highway 82, town of Union
• Kathleen Johnsrude of Soldiers Grove hit a raccoon on Highway 14 in the town of Kickapoo
• Emily Olson of Viroqua hit a deer on Highway 27 in the town of Christiana
