Kendall and its surrounding area recently has experienced a string of trespassing complaints and break-ins, though in most cases unlocked doors have provided easy access for the perpetrators, Marshal Brandon Arenz said at the Kendall Village Board meeting Monday.

Only one of the recent incidents involved a forced entry, he said. He advises residents to be mindful of locking vehicle and building doors.

Also, a camper was set on fire Oct. 29 near the Hidden Inn, which is on White Street. That matter is still under investigation, Arenz said.
