The winner this week in the Ontario Public Library’s “Let It Snow” reading program is Darlene Tainter, who received a book and a large candy bar. Fill out a review form for books read or listened to and return it to the library for a chance to win a prize. There is only one more Monday drawing, so get your review forms in.

A felting class will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. If you are interested in learning how to felt a knitted project, this class is for you. Karen Austad will have numerous patterns to choose from, including those for hats, mittens, bags, bowls, slippers and even a cat bed. She also will talk about the yarn that should be used for a successful project. You will learn about the felting process, which makes the cloth shrink and get thicker. Join us and learn a new technique.

The book group will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, to discuss Graham Moore’s “The Last Days of Night.” If you would like to read the book or join the discussion, stop by the library for a copy.

Playgroups meet at 10 a.m. Wednesdays. Preschool children and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, activities and crafts.
