Stepping Stones 4-H Club reporter
President Allison Kolodzinski called the Stepping Stones 4-H Club meeting to order Oct. 9 in the Royall Intermediate School.
Bekah Cleaver led the pledges. Allison Kolodzinski read the secretary’s minutes; and Bekah Cleaver, the treasurer’s report. All new members introduced themselves and were welcomed by the club.
Old business
• The National 4-H Week committee met last week and created a display, which is on display at Royall Elementary School.
• Achievement Night was Oct. 15 at the Wilton Community Center.
• A foods meeting was Oct. 15, when we made the bars and cookies for Achievement Night.
• The fall activity will be Saturday, Nov. 12, at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Members voted the club rent a condo for the day and pay the cost of the members’ tickets to the water park, with adults being responsible for their own tickets.
• Cheryl Scheeter will set up dates for the rabies clinic.
New business
• The Friend of 4-H and Alumni awards applications were due Oct. 15 to the UW-Extension office.
• Member evaluation forms are due Tuesday, Nov. 1.
• The Leaders Banquet will be Friday, Nov. 4, at The Colonial in Sparta. See Cloverlink for more information.
• Charter renewal is due Tuesday, Nov. 1, to Sarah. Mary Skolos will work on the membership information and financial statement.
Officer nominations and elections were held, and the new officers are President Erica Murray, Vice President Allison Kolodzinski, Secretary Brandon Skolos, Treasurer Mckenzie Skolos, Reporter Jacob Kolodzinski and Historian Luke Wohlrab.
The club will have an informal business meeting on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the fall outing at Chula Vista Resort.
