Happy Groundhog Day! Several years ago, my brother-in-law and some of his coworkers in Racine found a picture of a groundhog and put it in their favorite watering hole, beginning an annual Groundhog Day celebration. The guys have gone to greener pastures, and the bar where they met has changed hands several times, but I still remember some good food and seeing that photo when we went in with my sister and family for lunch.

There is a small stone cross on my desk with the inscription, “The WORD of the LORD endures FOREVER.” How true that is. When life gives us lemons, make lemonade, and when life gives us heartaches, go to the scriptures. Just open the Bible to the middle, and you can find a Psalm to take care of any crises and even the joys in your life.
