Weather caused delays and cancellations early last week, but Royall still found time to reschedule and play its last league games.
The Panthers finished the regular season with a pair of wins over Wonewoc-Center and New Lisbon, improving to 11–3 in league play and ending in a tie with Necedah as the conference runner-up. Bangor won the league, but cancelled its postponed game with Cashton, and will be the first-ever 13–0 champion.
Royall 68, Wonewoc-Center 55
A monstrous first half of offense was key for Royall as it closed the books on Wonewoc-Center on Feb. 21. Royall scored its way to a 40–18 halftime lead and looked primed to do the same in the second half. But the visiting Wolves kept things interesting, as they found rhythm in the final 18 minutes of play, outscoring the home team 37–28, but couldn’t change the outcome in the end.
Seth Brown ended with 23 points after shooting 9–17 in field goals. Two of those shots made were 3s. Jaydyn Enzenbacher scored 15, and Dane Hyer and Tristan Welchlin each added 8.
Brown led the team with eight rebounds as the Panthers out-boarded W-C 32–22.
Dawson Miller led Wonewoc-Center with 16.

Brown added 12 points and had a team-high nine rebounds. Also, Welchlin was 3–7 from the field and 4–6 in free throws for 10 points.
Cody Haschke’s 12 led the Rockets’ offense.
