Ontario police arrested Phillip Wallace of Ontario early Sunday on multiple charges, most of them related to alcohol.
After Wallace, 21, was witnessed driving a vehicle while allegedly under the influence, he left the vehicle and walked to another location, where police found him. He would not cooperative with the investigation, according to Ontario police records.
After his arrest, which was at 12:40 a.m., he was taken to Vernon County Jail, where he was booked on charges of operating a motor vehicle with the owner’s consent, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (third offense), operating after revocation, and entering a locked building, all misdemeanor offenses.
Also, Wallace received a citation for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock devise as required.
Wallace was held the rest of the holiday weekend at the order of Judge Darcy Rood until he was brought before the judge at a bond hearing Tuesday. He was released on bond and awaits an an initial appearance in Vernon County Circuit Court on Sept. 18.
