The book group will discuss “Small Great Things” by Jodi Picoult at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The following is an excerpt from the publisher’s blurb: “With incredible empathy, intelligence, and candor, Jodi Picoult tackles race, privilege, prejudice, justice, and compassion – and doesn’t offer easy answers.”
Stop by the library for a copy if you would like to join the discussion of this thought-provoking novel.

Pet the puppies! Children are invited to come to the library at 1 p.m. Monday for the last opportunity to help socialize puppies that Susan Case is raising. She has three puppies that we can gently hold and pet so that they get used to children and new people holding them. No other dogs are allowed, as the puppies are too young to vaccinate.

Donated garden produce often is available in the entryway to the library. If you have extra produce you would like to share, you can drop it off at the library during our open hours.
